"The Dress" continues its festival journey
The film "The Dress" qualified for three more festivals: two foreign and one domestic.
Our award-winning title will be shown at more film events. Soon the participants of the Central and Eastern European Film Festival in Luxembourg, devoted to films from Central and Eastern European countries, will have a chance to see it on October 20. "The Dress" will be screened in the "Short fiction films marathon – North", a section of films from Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia and Ukraine.
On the same day, the film will be available to American audiences as part of the Bushwick Film Festival (USA), a Brooklyn-based festival committed to building community, empowering underrepresented filmmakers, and increasing diversity in film and other forms of media.
Moreover, the film received two nominations at the polish GRAND OFF festival in categories:
-
Best Actress – Anna Dzieduszycka – the actress in the leading role, whose portrayal has already been recognized by the Oscar qualifying Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival, where she received the Grand Prize – Best Actress and at last year's WAMA Film Festival and on this year's IFF ZOOM - Zbliżenia, where she was nominated for the prestigious Jan Machulski Awards (the director and screenwriter of "The Dress"", Tadeusz Łysiak, was also nominated in Jelenia Góra for the J. -

The winners of the 15th GRAND OFF will be announced on December 4.
"The Dress" has been on almost constant tour since its premiere at last year's Krakow Film Festival with screenings in competitions and reviews around the world. The film won recognition from both critics and festival audiences, as confirmed by numerous awards and distinctions.
