More successes of the film "Off-season"
The film "Off-season" celebrates another overseas success! The title won the Best Director Award for Monika Majorek and was a semi-finalist for Best Screenplay at the Buenos Aires International Film Festival and qualified for other international festivals.
Buenos Aires International Film Festival (BUEIFF) is the largest online film festival in Argentina. The award at this South American event is one of many that the film "Off-season" has won this year. The production has so far been awarded at events such as the 2º QRT Prague International Indie Film Festival in the Czech Republic, the 10th Bangalore Shorts Film Festival in India, and most recently at Albania's KO:SH Film International Festival.
There is no shortage of further qualifications for our production either! The film is currently taking part in the Bolton International Film Festival in the UK, which paves the way for BAFTA and BIFA awards! BIFF is widely recognised as the leading short film festival in this part of the country and one of the UK's top ten festivals for shorts. The event is held in a hybrid formula. Its stationary part in Bolton cinemas is already behind us. The online part begins today (October 6) and will run through October 16.
That's not all! "Off-eason" has also qualified for the Innuendo International Film Festival in Milan (October 27-30)! Moreover, the film received a Special Jury Mention in Short Of The Year (spring edition) at Promofest - a platform for the promotion and distribution of audiovisual works at international festivals!
The next qualifications continue the intense journey the film has taken since its premiere. Our production has already toured a number of national and international festivals. It was presented, among others, in the prestigious review Shortlist of New Horizons.
