Screening dates of our films at the festival ZOOM – Zbliżenia
We know the program of the 24th. International Film Festival ZOOM – Zbliżenia. As many as five films from the Warsaw Film School will compete in the Fiction Film Competition of the Jelenia Góra festival, which will take place between 4-10 October.
IFF ZOOM – Zbliżenia is one of the largest and most important festivals of independent cinema in Poland. Its aim is to present auteur, ambitious cinema of high artistic value, dealing with independent and original themes, as well as to promote independent film art. Since the idea of the festival is to confront the achievements of filmmakers and to present all the phenomena occurring in the independent cinema, the formula of the competitions allows the participation of various forms. There are no thematic restrictions and the competition is open to amateurs, independent artists and art school students. The organizer of this event is Housing Community Centre in Jelenia Góra.

A young boy gets a pass for his wedding. At the same time, his father finishes prison term. The father (car thief) is soon visited by gangsters to whom he owes a favor. He knows that he can't do the job for them, so he sets his son up on his wedding night. The son, fearing for his wife's life, decides to steal the pointed car under additional pressure - in the morning he has to return to prison. Eventually, he succeeds in stealing the car. He returns at dawn and says goodbye to his wife before coming back to prison.
