Raindance Film Festival is the largest and most important independent film festival in the UK and one of the most important in the world, showcasing feature films, shorts, web series and music videos. Apart from the screenings, the festival includes numerous seminars, workshops and accompanying events. Raindance is an event qualifying for the Oscars, BAFTAs, BIFAs and the Canadian Screen Awards.
However, this is not the end of the good news. Film score, composed by Tomasz Mreńca, has been selected for the Fimucité festival – one of the world's most important film music festivals, which has just started today (September 17). Among the invited artists you will find many distinguished names of composers. The festival will feature Craig Stuart Garfinkle ("Harry Potter", "Vicky Christina Barcelona"), Eimear Noone (composer of music for many computer games such as "World Of Warcraft" or "The Adventures of Zelda"), Dani Trujillo (composer mainly for commercials of big brands such as Toyota, Kia, Renault, FC Barcelona).
"The Dreams of Lonely People" is a relatively fresh production that has already managed to be recognized abroad and received a number of festival qualifications. It is worth mentioning the great success that its creators celebrated during the Bucharest SchortCut Cinefest in Romania, where they won four awards. The film was also awarded by the Young Jury of the Castrovillari Film Festival in Italy.
