'Let’s use this wonderful medium which film is to make the world a better place'
Our directing graduate, Krzysztof Chodorowski, in an interview for Indieactivity talked about the film he directed, "Masha" – a touching short produced by the Warsaw Film School.
Indieactivity is an independent film publication that serves daily film information in and around the independent film community to the readers in North America, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zeland, and Africa.

Krzysztof Chodorowski recounted, among other things, the process of writing the script and working on the film. "Masha" tells the story of a Ukrainian woman, Vera, working illegally in a Polish factory, who tries to help her colleague Masha, injured in an accident. 'The screenplay was written by me. It is a story unfortunately based on true events that took place in Poland in recent years.' – Krzysztof revealed.
The director himself talked to Ukrainians who told him many shocking stories about working conditions for foreigners in our country, which inspired him in his work on the project.
His idea was quickly endorsed by the tutors and professors of our School. 'I am glad that the Warsaw Film School, despite the difficult topic I discuss in this film, gave me a credit of trust and produced it and support me so much' – said director – 'I would like to especially say thanks to my artistic mentor Barbara Pawłowska and Warsaw Film School chancellor Maciej Ślesicki, who supported me all the way in my filmmaking process.
