"The Dress" with the Grand Prix of the "Lato z Muzami" Festival
"The Dress" – a film directed by Tadeusz Łysiak with Konrad Bloch's cinematography – won the Grand Prix at the "Lato z Muzami" Festival in Nowogard.

"Lato z Muzami" is an event combining various fields of art. At its core is a film festival that showcases the latest film trends and classic works of great masters. The screenings are accompanied by meetings with actors and filmmakers. An integral part of the festival's programme is the Young Poland Film Competition, during which a dozen or so of the latest short feature films are presented, and a professional jury awards the Grand Prix, which this year went to our film "The Dress".
Since its premiere at 60. At the Krakow Film Festival it appeared in the official selections of many prestigious festivals, both in Poland and abroad, where it received a number of awards.
With a win at this year's Atlanta Film Festival the film has a chance to compete for an Oscar next year!
The film is now taking part in another festival qualifying for the Academy Awards – LA Shorts International Film Festival – which is one of the most prestigious international short film festivals in the world. The event runs from July 1-31.

Tadeusz Łysiak – born in 1993, graduate of Cultural Studies at the University of Warsaw, student of Directing at the Warsaw Film School. Creator of two award-winning short films in Poland and abroad: "Techno" (starring Leszek Abrahamowicz, Danuta Stenka, Michalina Olszańska) and "The Dress" (Anna Dzieduszycka, Dorota Pomykała, Szymon Piotr Warszawski). Participant of the prestigious program FUTURE FRAMES - Generation NEXT of European Cinema within Eastern Promises at the Karlovy Vary Festival. Winner of the "Discovering Eye" award for young talented filmmaker at the Polish Film Festival in Chicago.
