A strong representation of the Warsaw Film School at the 63rd Krakow Film Festival!
Four qualifications and four World Premieres! Our productions got into the National Competition of the 63rd Krakow Film Festival. In the feature section we've got „My Old Gals” and „Ballad of Kychiev”. The documentary section includes the following films: „Cataract” and „Kinior”. This year's edition of KFF will take place from May 28 to June 4.
The Krakow Film Festival is one of the world's oldest and most recognizable events dedicated to documentary, animated and short feature films. The festival is on the exclusive list of film events qualifying for the Oscar in the categories of short film (fiction, animation, documentary) and feature-length documentary, and also recommends for the European Film Award in the same categories.
For the first time in history, the Polish Competition will be held in two separate segments: documentary and fiction. Four equivalent Golden Hobby-Horses will be awarded.

The film tells the story that it's never too late for love. The production, apart from the National Competition, as the first one created at the Warsaw Film School, will also take part in the International Competition. The film “KINIOR” is a therapeutic experience and settlement of a son (Kacpr Kiniorski) with the silhouette of his father (Włodzimierz “KINIOR” Kiniorski). We're going down a road full of metaphors, illiteracy, playing with image and sound. We will encounter a multitude of symbols and stories from life artist. The film was shot from the fascination of the artist and the longing of the son for his father, from the need to find a common language, understanding and sensitivity. The film is a kind of message to the father, with whom under the end of the film, the contact was very limited.
