The Jury awarded prizes and distinctions in three categories of the screen writing competition.
The Winners of the Main Prize, PLN 20000, became Marta Lipowicz and Jędrzej Ziębiński for their idea for the series "Charon". The Main Prize, PLN for the short film screenplay went to Arkadiusz Antosz for his "Matteo". Four distinctions were awarded in the anniversary spot of the Warsaw Uprising Museum contest.
The 7th edition of the Script Fiesta festival was held March 19 – 24, 2018 at the Elektronik Cinema . It was a week full of inspiring meetings for all who share the passion of screenwriting. Participation in The agenda of this year's festival included the screening of the award-winning "The Florida Project" and the participation of its producers - Sean Baker and Chris Bergoch. Additionaly, Leszek Bodzak, Magda and Borys Lankosz presented the adaptation process of Joanna Bator’s - "Darkness, almost night" from novel to film. One of the Festival’s attractions was also a discussion with Tomasz Baginski about modern TV series and Netflix. During the meetings, the participants learnt an important lesson about what a creative document is and how to transfer the comic to the screen. There was a special event Breakfast for the Publishers of Children's and Youth Literature and the Film Industry.
110 people applied for two Saturday sessions of Pitch Fiesta, 18 producers attended the event looking for various projects, and each pitch lasted 5 minutes.
