About T-mobile New Horizons
The festival director Roman Gutek: "While considering the festival formula, especially the completion selection, we asked ourselves the question: in the cinema of the 21st century (shaped by the tastes of mass audiences), is there a place for directors who go against fashions, for individuals who operate with their own style, their own unique language?
Such rebellious artists are still around, scattered throughout the globe, although it's progressively more difficult for them. Their films still have fans however – and it's these fans we make the festival for.
