Actor, director, script writer. Graduated from the Ludwik Solski State Theatre School in Cracow. He is the co-founder and lecturer at the Warsaw Film School. He played in such films as Gorączka (Fever)and Kobieta samotna (A Lonely Woman) by Agnieszka Holland; Człowiek z żelaza (Man of Iron) by Andrzej Wajda; Krzysztof Kieslowski’s Przypadek (Blind Chance); Matka królów (Mother of Kings) by Janusz Zaorski; Zabij mnie, glino (Kill me, Cop) by Jacek Bromski; Kroll and Psy (Pigs) by Władysław Pasikowski; Jańcio Wodnik by Jan Jakub Kolski; Tato (Daddy) and Sara by Maciej Ślesicki; Pan Tadeusz by Andrzej Wajda. He directed several feature films, such as Seszele (Seychelles), Sezon na leszcza (Season for Suckers) and Jasne błękitne okna (Bright Blue Windows). In 2005 he appeared on a record Las Putas Melancólicas by a band Swietliki. In 2009 he was awarded with the Silver Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis.
