The "stubbornly independent" as they like to call themselves Tallgrass Film Festival in Wichita, Kansas - USA- have chosen our international student's film "LIBERATION" by Veronika Andersson to screen in this year's edition in the days of October 18th to the 22nd.
"Liberation" will be screened as part of the section "Viewpoint - short stories directed by women". The film was awarded the Best Short Award at the Female Eye Festival in Toronto this June and has just recently been presented at the biggest Polish Features Film Festival in Gdynia.

A mother and her teenage daughter are looking for a hospital where the girl could get an abortion of a pregnancy that is an effect of a rape. The film received the best short film award at the Female Eye Film Festival in Toronto, gathering the Canadian and international independent cinema makers.
